For over forty years I have traveled across this great nation with youth. Starting with The Victory Voices in June of 1968 in San Jose, California, we left on what we thought would be a six month tour. but now forty years later, I have given a platform to and helped train over one thousand students. The Victory Voices, The Love Special Singers, and now the Mighty Warriors and I, have become a "household word" in many homes across this nation and around the world via television and
our evangelism and outreach programs. This has been God-favor!
I had a Dream of making a "launching pad" for church youth who never had an opportunity to express their talents or ministry abilities at their home churches. Youth can do alot if they are tutored, believed in, and given an opportunity. When I was twenty eight years old, IT HAPPENED!
Little by little God would open doors, youth would come and we would travel from church to church, from tv studios to street corners, from outreaches in the inner city areas to tent meetings. Anywhere we could sing and preach and shout for the Lord, we went! Some called us "spiritual vagabonds" with a smile on their faces.
I had a vision when I was fourteen, thst I was singing and ministering to masses of people in a foreign land. Twenty years later, at thirty four years of age, The Victory Voices and myself stepped off the Jet Airliner in Nairobi Kenya, East Africa where we were welcomed by The Paul Bruton Family and native ministers who were going to help with the Crusade. WThe Victory Voices and I ministered along with our Pastor, Reverend Kenny Foreman and his wife Shirley as well as a few close friends who accompanied us on our journey to far-a-way lands.Oh, It was exciting! Such awesome miracles happened; we witness God's miracle power night after night in the crusade services. God performed His mighty works in the lives precious African people who became our "friends", and they are still woven into our tapestry of golden memories.
Since that time we done our best to Follow Christ, to Love & Obey Him, and to do the work of the ministry. We have seen thousands saved, heal, delivered from all kinds of bondages. I have tried to walk where the people walk; speak so even the little children can understand the Gospel I preach; and raise a generation of Mighty Warriors who will tear down enemies strongholds everywhere they go.
"The Old Time Pentecostal Flavor" of spiritual-anointed Gospel Music and Preaching still flows from my heart and soul to the audiences and we are still looking and waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, not many days hence. So, Don't give up your Dream! Stay Faithful to Christ! It will be worth it all when we see Jesus! A-men!
